Hello world!

When I was growing up in South London in the 80s everyone expected the Police to treat you badly. Most of us children knew many teachers were racist because they had very low expectations of us. We knew more pro-criminal peers than pro-social models. I didn’t see a Black Teacher until I went to college and never saw or knew any Black professionals. Despite my environment I wanted to make something of my life. I wanted to be someone that could inspire others to take me as a role model. The only thing was I never knew it would be so hard.

Raesolutions was an idea that came to me, to use all the challenges that I faced to get to where I am now. To use the tools and experiences that I have now after obtaining a Law Degree and a degree in Community Justice. To assist those who are over-represented within the criminal justice system. To assist those who haven’t been given equal access to opportunities.

I know now that with ‘difficulty comes ease.’
